Careful planning of the layout had to be considered due to the nature of the land being a south-west facing block. The bedroom accommodation requirements when designing the layout of the new house were to be confined to the first floor allowing the ground floor to have free reign with the open plan living and opening out onto the northern outdoor living. The house was designed with an unconventional entry, with the gatehouse being the entry point and statement for this house. Sharp clean contemporary lines were used within the design to encapsulate this striking ultra-modern contemporary home.
